How to Apply
- Apply online through the university job portal

on or before August 26th, 2026 (Wednesday).
- Pay the applicable fee via any 1Link member bank's ATM, mobile banking, internet banking or over the
counter at a 1Link member bank branch before the closing deadline. Applications submitted without the
deposited system-generated fee challan will not be entertained; the amount is non-refundable and
non-transferable.
- Submit the signed printout of the same pre-filled online application form through courier
along with a recent passport-size photograph and attested copies of CNIC, domicile, all educational documents
(transcripts & certificates) and experience certificates, on or before
August 28th, 2026 (Friday), to the Office of Registrar, Baba Guru Nanak
University, Nankana Sahib, Danish Schools Faculty Hostel Building, opposite District Courts, Nankana Sahib.
- Candidates applying for Associate Professor must additionally submit a soft copy (USB)
of the complete online application form with attested copies of degrees / certificates / testimonials and the
complete record of research publications (in full) in a PDF file, in addition to the hard copy.
- Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application, complete in all respects, for each post.
- Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date (even if dispatched through courier) will not be accepted.
- For non-teaching posts, only Punjab domicile applications will be entertained.

General Instructions
- Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC along with the application form.
- Only degrees from HEC recognized universities / degree awarding institutions will be considered.
- Candidates presently working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies must send their applications through proper channel only.
- Government servants must produce a Departmental Permission Certificate / NOC issued by the Competent Authority
along with the hard copy of the application form. Any application without it shall be rejected.
- A candidate who applied after taking an NOC from the parent department and is selected elsewhere during the selection
process must immediately send an NOC from the new employer, failing which the application will be rejected ab-initio.
- Where experience is required, documentary evidence in support of the claim must be produced.
- For BS-17 and above, experience in private entities is accepted only if the entity is registered with SECP, the
Registrar of Firms, or another regulatory authority of the Government of Pakistan.
- Only research papers in HEC recognized journals indexed in JCR and Scopus Index (SCIE, SSCI, AHCI) or under HJRS policy
will be accepted. Review articles, case-studies, translations, briefs, conference presentations and short communications
are not admissible as original research papers.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted as per Government of Punjab rules. Quota for disabled persons,
minorities and women will be observed as per Government of Punjab rules.
- Applications from candidates whose final transcripts for the claimed / required qualifications are not issued on or
before the closing date will not be considered.
- If any information provided is found incorrect or false at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified and action
will be taken under the rules.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
- The University will not be responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of the courier
agency / post office / telephonic message.
- If 10 or more applications are received against an advertised post, or where required by service rules / statutes,
a test (written / typing / screening) may be conducted of all eligible candidates. However, as per the University's
approved Recruitment Policy, test marks will not be included in the initial or final merit list.
- Pension and retirement benefits will be applied to appointees in accordance with Government of Punjab rules.
